NEW!! Hartford Volunteer Opportunities:
“The mission of Dismas of Vermont, Inc. is to reconcile former prisoners with society and society with former prisoners.”
Our mission at Dismas begins with reconciliation. We serve in the hope that residents work toward healing their relationships with family, friends, and the community. Perhaps most importantly, we hope that they find wholeness in their relationship with themselves.
So much of this success depends on the relationships they develop once they’ve transitioned to Hartford. Residents begin to participate in the life of a home and the life of a larger community, one that includes countless volunteers. It is without a doubt that volunteers are pivotal to our success in this journey. With the commitment of residents of the Upper Valley, residents at Hartford Dismas House are strengthened to find their own place within it. Because of this, we have expanded the ways in which people can share their time and talent with HDH.
Additional information about our new volunteer opportunities, as well as a general interest form, can be found below. If you have any questions, please reach out to our Assistant Director, Mark Bissonnette, by phone or via email: (802) 698-8661 or firstname.lastname@example.org
We look forward to working with you!
